Toddler Programs Continue through Summer at Leesburg Library
It’s summer, but our youngest library members still need a place to learn and grow at the library. Every Thursday at 10:30 AM, the library has a special activity planned for children from birth to 5. Because these are special, space-limited programs, parents need to sign their children up in the Youth Department of the library during Catch the Reading Bug registration, which begins on May 12.
Here’s the Summer Schedule for our Baby Bugs:
June 19: Kindermusik sampler – join Ms. Sharon for music and movement and lots of fun.
June 26: Play ‘n Learn – kids and caregivers can play with the library’s assortment of developmentally appropriate toys as they socialize with other kids and moms.
July 3: Toddler Time / Munchkin Movie – stories, songs, and a short film for tots and caregivers to share.
July 10: Little Ninjas – Ms. Tara from Mt. Dora Family Martial Arts makes a return visit to show kids and parents how to exercise in safe martial arts movement.
July 17: Catch the Reading Bug Puppet Show – Meet Ms. Lois under the Puppet Tree for some stories and interactive puppet fun.
