Llamas, Alpacas, and Kids — Oh, My! At the Leesburg Library

Steve German will be bringing his mini-menagerie of llamas and alpacas to the amphitheater of the Leesburg Public Library on Wednesday, April 2 at 3:30 PM. This special program is part of the Lake County Festival of Reading celebrated throughout the first week of April. Folks of all ages are invited to visit with the animals, and hear Mr. German’s amazing knowledge of alpaca facts and llama lore. Bring your own lawn chair for the best possible seating.

Feed the Birds at the Leesburg Public Library

It’s almost spring and the birds are back in town. Take them to dinner (your treat) with bird feeders made at Crafty Kids on Thursday, Mar. 27 at 4 PM. We’ll be using pine cones to make a backyard buffet for our feathered friends, and share a story about spring and birds returning home.

Call and reserve your child’s spot in this popular program. Call 727-9270 to learn about this and other Youth Dept. programs for kids of all ages.
