PAWS Dogs Make Summer Visits to the Leesburg Library, June 11 and July 9

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean that kids should stop reading.  In fact, practicing reading is the very best way to keep learning skills sharp when school is out.
The Leesburg Public Library will continue to have monthly visits from the PAWS dogs during the summer.  Kids can come to the library on the second Wednesday of each month at 4 PM, pick a book, pick a pooch, and read for an hour to our willing canine listeners.   As an added incentive, kids who read to the dogs can count the time towards their total hours for “Catch the Reading Bug” prizes.

You don’t need a reservation for this program.  Just come to the library and bend a pup’s willing ear with a good book.  Call 728-9790 for more information.
