Celebrate the Leesburg Library on “Silly Hat Day,” June 11, 2008

It’s the start of Summer Reading!  It’s the end of the school year!  It’s summer!  Everyone has something great to celebrate.

Join the staff of the Leesburg Public Library as we declare a new and unofficial holiday, “Silly Hat Day,” at the Leesburg Public LIbrary.  Everyone who comes to the library on Wednesday, June 11, is invited to wear a silly hat, a silly nose, some clown shoes — anything that brings a smile to your face.  The staff will be dressed in our silliest, and we hope that our Leesburg “family” will join us, as well.  If you don’t have a silly hat to wear, we’ll have Texas-sized coffee filters that you can turn into a silly hat.

Turn that frown upside down (the one that you get when you read the newspapers), and slap on your silliest smile because we intend to have fun at the Leesburg Public Library.

The Leesburg Public Library: where imagination takes flight.
