Care Foundation Visits Leesburg Library with Florida Animals
The CARE Foundation will be bringing native Florida animals to the Leesburg Public Library as part of the Summer Reading Program on Wednesday, June 25 at 10 AM. The CARE Foundation provides permanent sanctuary, primarily for non-releasable wildlife. This is a special “green” program that teaches children about preserving the environment and how animals are endangered in our state.
Children must be signed up for Summer Reading to attend Wednesday programs, and must be wearing an orange reading wristband to identify them as Summer Readers. Sign up is in the Youth Department of the library. Groups are welcome, but all children must be registered to attend. The program starts promptly and doors will close at 10 AM.
Call the library at 728-9790 for information about “Catch the Reading Bug” and other great summer events at the Leesburg Library.
