50 Teens to be Taste Testers

The Leesburg Pizza Taste Testing for Teens will have samples from Domino’s, Hungry Howie’s Fire Station, and 3J’s. The doors will open at 4:30 PM and the first 50 teen lined up will be the taste testers. Samples are limited. Children under 12 should attend Snack Attack on the 22nd at 6:00 PM. Only teens ages 12 to 18 will be permitted to participate. Parents are welcomed to observe and should make sure that teens have transportation to and from the event. Teens that do not make it into the first 50 have the option of attending the Adrian Fogelin author appearance at Tavares Civic Center which also begins at 4:30 PM. Fogelin is the author of Crossing Jordan, and the author visit includes an ice cream buffet. Later in the week the Mount Dora Pizza Taste-Off for Teens will be held at the W.T. Bland Library at 4:30 PM on Wednesday, March 21st. Teen storyteller, Jeremy Evans, will be at the Marion Baysinger Memorial County Library in Groveland also on March 21st starting at 5:00 PM. Lots of activities are being offered for teens as part of the 2007 Lake County Festival of Reading be sure to attend one. A complete event guide for adults and children is available at any of the Lake County Libraries. Look forward to more great teen activities over the summer!
